Motion Bank (MB) é um projeto de pesquisa da Mainz University of Applied Sciences co-dirigido por Florian Jenett e Scott deLahunta. MB é dedicado à pesquisa, documentação e tradução de práticas de dança contemporânea para formatos digitais, com o foco em notação e gravação em tempo real. O Objetivo do Lab em BH é fomentar o diálogo entre o MB e coreógrafas locais: Dudude Herrmann, Dorothé Depeauw, Margo Assis e Thembi Rosa. Junto aos pesquisadores do Motion Bank, as coreógrafas estarão envolovidas na documentaçào digital, anotação e visualização de aspectos de suas obras coreográficas. Em especial, A Projetista, Bols &Worp e Parquear Dança Multiplex. Oficinas, apresentações e conversas abertas ao público fazem parte da programação. MB Brasil é coordenado por Scott deLahunta e Thembi Rosa e tem a participação de Luiz Naveda (Brasil), Carla Fernandes (Portugal) e Daniel Bisig (Suíça). Motion Bank Lab Brasil tem o apoio da Fundação Suíça para Cultura Pro Helvetia «COINCIDÊNCIA – Intercâmbios Culturais Suíça – América do Sul em parceria com o Sesc Palladium e o Goethe-Institut

Motion Bank (MB) is a research project of the Mainz University of Applied Sciences co-directed by Florian Jenett and Scott deLahunta. MB is dedicated to researching the documentation and translation of contemporary dance practice into digital form, with a focus on annotation and presentation of time-based recordings. The objective of the Lab in BH is to nourish the dialogue between MB and the work of local choreographers: Dudude Herrmann, Dorothé Depeauw, Margô Assis and Thembi Rosa. They will be engaged with the MB team in the digital documentation, annotation and visualisation of some of their choreographic works and processes. In special, A projetista, Bols & Worp and Parquear Dança Multiplex. Public workshops, presentations, conversations with local and international artists are part of the program. MB Brazil is coordinated by Scott deLahunta and Thembi Rosa and has the participation of Luiz Naveda (Brazil) Carla Fernandes (Portugal) and Daniel Bisig (Switzerland).
